Frequently Asked Questions
- Is conference funding available?
As with previous conferences, we should have limited funds that will cover some conference costs and support the travel for colleagues to the conference who confront circumstances that would not enable them to participate otherwise. Please check back early 2019 for further information.
NOTE: If you need an early invitation letter to search for conference funding, please email us with the request.
- What if I missed a deadline?
If you miss a deadline, please contact us by email. The agenda for WOW6 is expected to be full, so if you miss a deadline for proposing a panel or presentation, it may not be possible to add you once that deadline has passed.
- Will panel sessions be recorded or live streamed?
No, recording and live video streaming services will not be available.
- What time shall I have for my presentation?
Panels will be 90 minutes. At least 30 minutes should be reserved for questions and discussion after presentations. That leaves a maximum of 60 minutes for all presentations on a panel, so, for example, if you are on a panel with four presenters, each presenter would have a maximum of 15 minutes.
- What is the presentation equipment in a meeting room?
Presentation rooms will be equipped with a laptop and projector for PowerPoint presentations. Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive.
- Will copies of papers be available at the conference?
No, paper copies will not be provided.
- When will the conference agenda be available?
The agenda will be available on the website well in advance of the conference.
For liability reasons, WOW6 cannot provide any child care, nor any direct referrals or recommendations.
